Cancellation policy

All candidates holding trip booking with the company are bound with the cancellation policy. Company wouldn’t appreciate alteration with the terms of cancellation of the agency laid down underneath. In the case of violation of our policy, we hold the right to take decision of amount to be returned and refunded to the client. It is important for every candidate to go through the policy of withdrawal and are abode to them

Written intimation of cancellation

In the case of cancellation due to inescapable circumstances, a written cancellation notice by candidate with booking is mandatory. Cancellation fee would be levied from the date of receipt of written intimation.

Norms regarding cancellation charges

The date of cancellation will be deemed to be the date of receipt of email of cancellation in the case it is received during working hours. However, next day would be assumed to be the date of cancellation, if we receive the written communication of cancellation after office hours. The first date of tour wouldn’t be counted while computing cancellation charges to be levied. Take a look at the norms of Jim Corbett Forests with regard to cancellation

• If cancellation is made 30 days before the tour date, 30 % of tour cost will be deducted as cancellation charges excluding the prices of Jeep, elephant and canter safari depending upon chosen mode for safari.
• We hold the right to charge 30 % of tour cost other than the rates of safari chosen by tourists holding the bookings with us, in the case of cancellation made between 15- to 19 days before the date of commencement of tour.
• 40 % of tour cost excluding the cost of safari may be deducted in the case of cancellation made between 7 to 14 days before the day of tour planned.
• We hold the authority to charge 50 % as a cancellation charge in the case of cancellation made between 2 days to 6 days prior the 1 st day of tour.
• No refund would be granted or whole amount would be charged as cancellation charge on receiving cancellation notice from the client 48 hours before the date of tour.

Other Norms

• Jim Corbett Forest pleads its customers to wait for 24 hours for confirmation of booking and voucher. We may send voucher confirming the booking via whats app, SMS or hard copy.
• No refund will be granted against the Jeep, elephant and canter safari booking.
• Only two guests are allowed in a room. If the room is booked on triple sharing, an extra mattress is mandatory.
• Information about revision or alteration in hotel charges, government taxes, safari charges would be informed over phone, email id and Whats app prior to the date of arrival.
• Bookings at the forest lodges at any of the four zones of national park like Dhikala, Jhirna, etc. would not be refunded.
• Cancellation norms would be different in the case of peak season in Jim Corbett national park like Diwali, Holi, New Year, Christmas, weekends etc. The changes would be intimated through any of the channel like e-mail, hard copy, Whatsapp messages etc.
• We ensure to refund the while amount in the case of cancellation of safari by us due to technical or other genuine reasons.

Duration of Refund

Jim Corbett Forests reserve the rights to revise the rates of packages and services on escalation of rates by Government. We hold the right to take the aid of jurisdiction in the case of disagreement. In the case of natural calamities or other unforeseen situation, Jim Corbett Forests must not be held liable.
