Featuring a total stretch of 1,318.54 sq. kms, this park offers protection to a large number of
tigers. It has the highest proportion of tigers in any of India's national parks.
Another barrier tourists come across in this place is the temperature of the forest. Talking of
the usual temperature of the place, it is gentle and normal compared to any of the other parks
of India. The usual fluctuations in the winter months are – 5- 30 degree Celsius with some
foggy atmosphere in the morning. However, in the summer months, the temperature doesn’t
exceed 40 degrees.

flora and 586 species of beautiful birds, 33 reptile species, 7 amphibian species, plus 7 fish
