Compulsory identification document details
Guests with booking in Jim Corbett Forest are bound to carry following identity proof at the time of check-in

• In the case of foreign nationals - guests must carry a copy of passport and Visa
• In the case of NRI (Non –resident Indian) guests - A passport copy.
• Client with OCI/PIO card - A copy of passport and OCI/PIO card is mandatory.
• Resident and citizen of India - copy of either of Voter ID card/ aadhar card/ passport and driving license.

Terms and conditions with Refund and cancellation

In the event of trip cancellation, intimation must be in written format like an email and much be sent on working days. Cancellation policies are different in every case depending upon services availed by the client like safari cost wouldn’t be refunded at all, whereas norms in the case of accommodation and transportations are unalike. Cancellation and refund policies are shared by us along with quote for the tour package requested by the customers.

Depending upon hotels and resorts cancellation terms would be different as many of them provide refunds only if it is requested 45 days before the date of arrival. Take a look at cancellation policy in the case of guide and transportation services and hotel/resort –

Cancellation Policy in the case of Jeep and canter Safari

• No refund would be granted for canter or keep safari booked once.
• Even in the case of heavy rain condition where safari isn’t feasible and cancelled by the forest department itself, no refund would be initiated. Jim Corbett Forests shall also not be asked compensation in the case of shortening of tour due delay in airlines or trains, bad weather conditions, obstruction in road route for any reasons.

Cancellation Policy for Resort:

• Cancellation before 30 days of date of arrival - 10 % cancellation charges would be levied on the total amount.
• Cancellation between 30-15 days of date of arrival -40% of cancellation charge would be charged on total amount.
• Cancellation done between 15- 7 days- 80% of cancellation of amount of tour will be charged by the company.
• No refund will be granted for cancellation done within 7 days of date of arrival of tour.
• We shall not be asked refund for partial usage of any of the services in the package like not availed meals, sight-seeing, accommodation etc.

Duration of Refund

After the initiation of refund, it may take 7 working days for reflection of amount in the account of customers.

Bookings during Unforeseen circumstances

Certain circumstances are inevitable and beyond human control. Jim Corbett forests may not also in certain circumstances provide you services at scheduled time. Circumstances like epidemic, endemic, insolvency, terrorist attacks, natural calamities like flood, earth quake, landslide, technical issues, etc. may hit the status of services by us. We would provide best of the alternatives like refund to the clients as per conditions. We are merely a provider of the services, and shouldn’t be held liable for any force Majeure conditions. We deemed confirmation of agreement by the user constricted only to the booking amount in the case of technical failure. Refunds in the case of network failure, disconnection with the third party payment podiums should be complete. Extra liabilities arising from it shall be borne by users only.
